Session Pils 2.9%ABV / 7.5°P
A light but not liquid Pilsner-style beer.
In order to keep the strength of this beer modest, while maintaining the flavour balance, we have chosen malts that are a little more expressive than usual for this style. During the malting process, we used the decoction method, where part of the malt and water mash is boiled off, thus creating more unfermentable substances and a fuller flavour.
In the kettle we used Polish hops - the aromatic classic Lubelski and the almost extinct, but enthusiastically revived Tomyski variety.
Without avoiding the fruitiness of the fermentation, we allowed the beer to ferment slightly warmer than usual.
In the glass is a classic Pils-style pale ale with a white head and aroma of light citrus and earthy flavours.
Ingredients: water, barley malt, hops, yeast.
